Old Adam Goodheart

Bob Savage

Robin’s faithful servant.

Bob was born in central London and moved to Christchurch three years ago. Apart from last year’s ‘Pirates of Penzance’, his last Gilbert and Sullivan appearance was as Colonel Calverley in ‘Patience’ at the Minack Open Air Theatre in Cornwall in 2001. He is married to Maroulla and has two children. His last ‘Ruddigore’ was over forty years ago with Hounslow Light Opera Company, when he played Robin Oakapple, so he has gone from being a ‘Bad Bart’ to being a faithful old servant.

He is a Churchwarden at St George’s Church in Jumpers Road and co-ordinator of the local Neighbourhood Watch group, so he can hardly be said to be idle in his retirement. He is looking forward to performing in ‘Ruddigore’, which is his wife’s favourite G&S opera.
