Lucy Kelleher

Lucy has been involved in dance and drama for many years and has performed locally for Christchurch Gilbert & Sullivan Society, Milton Musical Society and New Forest Players, for whom she choreographed their pantomime “Dick Whittington”.

Lucy teaches adult tap dancing in New Milton and the “Happy Tappers” have performed to raise money for the McMillan Unit at Christchurch Hospital and for Children In Need.  They most recently appeared at the Christchurch Dance Festival in July.

Lucy is delighted to be choreographing “Ruddigore”.  She has incorporated themes from Victorian shadow puppet theatre and traditional Gavotte and country dancing.  Being a collaborative piece, the cast have suggested dance styles to incorporate, so look out for Irish and Morris dancing and you may even spot a “Miranda gallop” or even a “dab!”
